1. When does registration close?
Registration closes at 4:59pm (CST) on December 20th. This allows the event committee time to coordinate with the hotel on food, rooms, etc. This DOES NOT mean that you cannot register after this date. But you will have to do it on site at the hotel at the late registration rate of $150. Payments must be cash or check. Credit cards will be accepted with an additional fee.
Late registration DOES NOT guarantee you the same perks as normal registration. For example: if you register late, we cannot guarantee you a T-Shirt, or place at the banquet. Generally this is not a problem, but sizes and place settings are determined by the normal registration numbers. So please register prior to December 20th.
2. What does my $125 registration fee include?
The registration fee includes: registration to the Conference, admission to all Breakout Sessions, a Conference T-Shirt, and dinner at the Banquet Saturday night.
3. I did not receive my confirmation email. What do I do?
Check your Spam/Junk/Clutter folder in your email. Since the confirmation email is computer generated, chances are your provider may have sent it to the SPAM folder. If you cannot find a copy of it there, contact the event committee to confirm your registration. Additionally, we have noticed in the past, that if you book more than one person back to back on the same email and/or credit card that usually only the first confirmation email arrives and your provider rejects the next email as SPAM and will not even let it through. **PLEASE NOTE: We only run reports once a week, so if you send a request for your confirmation number, it may take up to 7 days for a response from the Event Committee. If after 7 days you have not received a response, please feel free to send a second email.
4. Someone who is not a background cleared member or supporter is coming with me, can they attend?
Only cleared members and supporters may attend the International Conference General Assembly and Breakout Sessions. They may attend the hospitality areas available after business hours. They may also attend the banquet on Saturday night, a meal ticket must be purchased by Dec 20, 2017 and the cost is $65. Sales on extra meal tickets are final, NO REFUNDS. Meal ticket sales are now closed!
5. When and where is on-site registration?
On Site registration pick up is held Thursday evening from 2pm to 10pm and Friday morning from 6-7am. (and will reopen after General Assembly) Registration will be held at the Conference Center. (see the map on the Event Schedule and Map page). This is also where late registration will take place.
6. My plans changed. How do I request a refund?
Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis and the refund will be less the cost of processing fees. Please contact the event committee with your request. It may take up to 7 days for a response from the Event Committee. If after 7 days you have not received a response, please feel free to send a second email.
No refunds are available after December 20th (after this date, the expenses are already incurred based on final registration numbers presented to the vendors.
You can have someone from your chapter pick up your registration bag for you, if it is not picked up by 9AM Saturday it is a donation to the BACA Int’l merchandise table for exchange.
